Since the pace is capped at 69, many smaller, faster players are out of the picture. Therefore, it makes sense to rely on large strikers with a lot of physicality.
The upgrades of the EVO look really strong. Overall, your developed professional can increase his rating by 20 rating points. During the different development stages, he will receive the following improvements:
- Pace +40
- Shooting +20
- Passing +15
- Dribbling +20
- +1★ Weak foot
- PlayStyle: Lobber
- PlayStyle: Unyielding
- PlayStyle: Power Shot
- PlayStyle+: Frenzy
- Player Role+: Finisher
That’s why the pace almost doubles: The key point lies especially in the upgrade of the pace stat. With an improvement of +40, your player makes a huge leap and can increase his speed up to a maximum limit of 90.
Equally important for the newfound speed is the PlayStyle+ “Frenzy”. This ensures that your striker hardly loses speed while sprinting with the ball at his feet. You also need Frenzy to still utilize the sprint boost after one of the latest patches.
If you apply the EVO to a large, physically strong player, the chances are good that he possesses the “sustained acceleration style”. This further increases his top speed.
Thus, after the EVO, you have a quick and assertive offensive tank in your ranks.
