Is the new SBC for Laurent Blanc worth it?
This is Icon Blanc: The Icon card of Blanc is a 1.92 meter tall defender who becomes really fast with the use of a Shadow chemistry style and also receives the important “Mostly Lengthy” run style. He has 3 stars for weak foot and 2 stars for skill moves.
This is why Blanc is so strong: His stats are excellent in the defensive area, especially with the aforementioned Shadow chemistry style. This ensures that almost all defensive attributes lie in the high 90s. But even with his physicality of 85, the Frenchman can impress, with the strength rating being a solid 84.
What makes Blanc really good are his PlayStyles, which are a feature this year that can make a difference.
Blanc has the very strong Anticipation PlayStyle in the Plus variant, which very likely ensures that the defender executes fair tackles and stops the ball directly at his feet.
In addition, he has the Jockey, Kante, and the In-the-Air PlayStyle, which make Blanc that outstanding defender.
Curiously: You can use Blanc not only in the center-back position but also in the attacking midfield. However, due to his defensive values, he may not perform as strongly there.
What are alternatives to Blanc? Currently, the gold card of Virgil Van Dijk is as strong as Blanc. This one has comparable stats and currently costs even 200,000 coins less. But Blanc offers a huge advantage: He is an icon, and they provide real chemistry again in FC 24 for your team.
Additionally, he is French, which can help you integrate top French players from various leagues into your team.
What does the card cost: You can either buy Blanc on the transfer market for about 435,000 coins or complete the new Blanc SBC and submit cards worth 420,000 coins. The advantage of the SBC method is that you can grind here.

Is the Blanc SBC worth it? There is no question that Blanc is currently one of the best center-backs in FC 24 and that an investment can be worth it. So if you have the necessary patience for an SBC grind and are looking for an extremely strong center-back who can solidify your defense and is also strong in a few months, then Blanc is an excellent choice.
