In Destiny 2, a hideout has now been found that leads you into creepy tunnels and offers more riddles for the Guardians. If you want to delve into the secrets, you should take an exotic from Season 12 with you.
About this hideout: Your goal is in the European Dead Zone (EDZ). Choose the fast travel point at the church “Trostland.” March past the church to the half-destroyed house with the inscription “ABS Kastner.”
Jump into the first floor here. Here you will see a fireplace. It conceals the secret passage.
Use this exotic: Equip the exotic hand cannon Hawkmoon. Now fire a full magazine into the fireplace. Suddenly, the bricks burst open and a passage is revealed:
It might be that the fireplace is already open for you. This is because you are in the public patrol area and another player recently opened the way with Hawkmoon.
What to discover behind the fireplace
You now walk through narrow tunnels and between the walls of the EDZ – not for claustrophobics. Overall, the secret passage feels more like a horror game: insects crawl through the frame, dim light and echoing splashes accompany you on your narrow path.
Follow the secret passage all the way to the end and you will find a laptop next to a red lamp.
Players unfortunately have not yet figured out what, if anything, you can do with the laptop. However, the computer is still on, it lights up – who has worked here until recently?
This hidden door awaits: There is another way that is a bit harder to find: In the hallway just before the laptop, you can turn right. Follow the gap in the wall and you will soon find yourself in front of a locked door with a conspicuous control panel.
A light is glowing red there, but you probably can’t interact or do anything here (yet). If you pay close attention, you will see that you have now entered a new area: the Reservoir.
What’s with the secrecy in Destiny 2?
Only on January 13 was a hidden door found behind which a spaceship in the Hawkmoon design and story bits related to Crow/Uldren await you. In addition, there is currently a blocked passage here. This hideout is located in the Reservoir, exactly the area where the secret passage behind the fireplace leads to.

Guardians still cannot make sense of the two secrets of the last days.
However, it is certain that Season 12 has more to offer than most players would have expected. Since the final hunt for the High Celebrant has gone live, the only thing missing is the ability to farm Hawkmoon with random rolls.
That the exotic from Season 12 is now also the key to a secret passage gives the Guardians hope for more. More than just a simple repetition of the story mission from the Hawkmoon quest could await us before Season 13 starts in February. Also, the seasonal title “Guardian” cannot currently be obtained, as 2 secret triumphs have not yet been fulfilled.
