The update 2.0.4 brought some changes for Destiny 2 – one of which came quietly. Guardians now have to work less to get the powerful clan reward.
What’s changed with the clan bounties: Since the update 2.0.4 for Destiny 2, the clan bounties from Hawthorne now provide more XP. Prior to the recent update, there were 750 clan XP per successfully completed bounty, but now the bounties give 1,000 XP upon completion.
The interesting part: This change was not noted in the update’s patch notes – many players were unaware of it. However, some clever Guardians quickly noticed the improvement of the bounties, and this adjustment quickly spread on Reddit.

What does this mean for the Guardians? For the Guardians, this means they now have to grind less for the powerful clan reward.
Previously, seven successfully completed clan bounties per week were necessary to meet the requirement of 5,000 clan XP, but now only five completed bounties are needed to obtain the powerful clan engram.
The good part: The powerful clan engram is one of the few sources that scale up to the max level cap of 600.
Even more changes to bounties: The weekly clan bounties are not the only ones improved as part of update 2.0.4.

It was criticized in the Iron Banner that the major bounties only rewarded Guardians with normal legendary gear. Bungie listened to the feedback and improved the Iron Banner bounties. Now, all weekly Iron Banner bounties offer powerful rewards. However, these changes were noted in the patch notes.
