While Destiny 2 is offline, data miners are already digging into the code of the loot shooter. Now they have stumbled upon a particularly dazzling loot that looks strangely beautiful. MeinMMO shows you and tells you where you might get this armor soon.
Which equipment has now been revealed: No new DLC without leaks. Although Bungie has already revealed a lot beforehand, there is still much that remains in the dark, such as large parts of the new gear.
However, data miners have discovered a truly colorful set that will make the guardians in Destiny 2 and their weapons beautifully, shimmering butterflies. It even seems that the new DLC Destiny 2: Lightfall contains more weapons than initially expected.
In a post on reddit, the leakers have now published everything and shown the first images of this allegedly new raid gear.
Lightfall spoilers reveal raid gear: Even though you can only play Lightfall tonight at 6:00 PM, you can still enjoy some yet unknown gear items from the new DLC.
On reddit and in the D2 Datamines Discord, first armors and weapons were shown that allegedly come from Lightfall. More specifically from the new Lightfall raid “Roots of Nightmares”.
In addition to the three classic sets for Warlock, Hunter, and Titan, there is also a Sparrow and a ship to see, as well as an exotic glaive with an ornament. However, the latter seems not to be the official raid exotic but rather an exotic mission reward, as the player XAL53 noted on reddit.

Lightfall brings color to the raid: Especially the symbols on the armors exhibit a clear design language. Joining them are weapons that are as colorful as butterflies. Interesting and somehow fascinating at the same time.
Some players on reddit have already judged: “It’s different, that’s for sure! I can’t wait to see how it looks in the game!”
New sleek weapon exotic: The weapon also appears separately. It is definitely an exotic. However, it is unclear from which source it will come and whether it is a sword or a glaive.
However, since Bungie has already presented the new exotic glaive “Winterbite” and the ritual weapon is also a glaive, many consider a sword more likely.
You can expect an incredibly large number of exotics in Lightfall: If the leak is true, Destiny 2 has an incredibly large number of exotics, totaling 10 pieces, with the leak exotic already, for its guardians to offer at the launch of Lightfall.
- “Mercury Storm” – the exotic pre-order automatic rifle from Lightfall
- “Last Warning” – a new focus-oriented pistol
- “Deterministic Chaos” – a powerful machine gun for crowd control
- “Winterbite” – a frosty staff with a cool buddy
- “Verglas Curve” – the exotic bow from Bungie’s ViDoc
- “Cyrtarachnes Facade” (Hunter Exotic) – the nightmare in the crucible
- “Hover Leap” (Titan Exotic) – causes enemies to hang
- “Thralls” (Warlock Exotic) – threads that chase your enemies
- A yet unknown exotic in the form of a Titan helmet with Clovis Bray logo
Is the automatic rifle Khvostov also an exotic? Probably not. Those who hoped that the Khvostov, the old D1 automatic rifle and old NewLight intro weapon, would also be an exotic in Lightfall may be disappointed. According to the leaker and data miners Elliot, it is more likely to come into play via the enclave and weapon crafting.

- Veterans can earn the Khvostov directly through a quest in the enclave
However, Bungie is said to have made changes to the original Khvostov. It will offer more advantages than a normal weapon in Lightfall.
- Instead of an origin trait, it should be able to choose between 4 different fire modes/ archetypes.
None of this information has been officially confirmed. So take everything with a grain of salt.
What else have the leakers discovered? The armors were not all that the data miners could uncover. The possible raid boss, an upcoming “Syzygy”, also known as “God Wave”, and subsequent confusing changes in the Tower of the Last City may have already been revealed.
MeinMMO will not spoil you further at this point because some things you just have to discover for yourself.
