What game is this about? Cowboy 3030 is a new game on Steam that is set to launch in Early Access on May 28, 2024. It is being developed by the indie studio Soy Boy Games. Currently, you can already play the demo version on the platform.
As the name suggests, in this third-person shooter, you step into the shoes of a cowboy in the future Wild West. Because in this world, the era of the Wild West never truly ended.

What can you expect? The shooter takes place in a futuristic Wild West in the year 3030. Your mission is to destroy the Nebularos. The Nebularos are a gang of alien villains and robots that are causing trouble in your home.
The developers themselves describe their game as an exciting 3D bullet-hell roguelite shooter. You can play together in cooperative mode with up to four players.
What exactly you can imagine this to be is hinted at by the first images from the trailer. Your character can be seen attacking opponents with precise shots. At the same time, you avoid large and widespread counterattacks.
It is promised here that each enemy has different and individual attack patterns that will keep you as a player on your toes. You should be able to defend yourself with an electric lasso, revolvers, sniper rifles, or bombs.
As a player, you should have the opportunity to choose between different characters that also possess different abilities. In the trailer, two characters are visible so far. How many more characters will follow after early access is not yet known.
