What else is coming for the Warzone? The Battle Royale from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is barely a few days old when the first info about the future of the new mega mode comes around.
Developers speak of “massive content” that is set to go online soon and promise that we players will be kept “on our toes” with new content and live events.
What could that look like? However, the responsible parties are not getting very specific. According to their statements, there could be the following possibilities:
- Live events – Changes to gameplay or rewards for certain actions could be possible here.
- Change in player count – There have already been tests with up to 200 players, and that could also be implemented for the finished Warzone. Matches with fewer players could also be conceivable.
- Other team sizes – The Warzone launched with 3-player teams. It could even go up to 5-player teams.
Whether the developers will bring these adjustments only through special events or regularly change the standard Warzone was not revealed. It is also possible that the BR will receive regular playlist updates, like the regular multiplayer.
