In CoD: Warzone the Plunder mode is currently gone again. MeinMMO shows you when “Plunder” will return to the game.
Update November 20, 2021: Plunder has indeed returned to the game and is currently available in the playlist. Even together with a double XP event.
What does the current playlist in Warzone look like? Anyone looking in the patch notes for Call of Duty: Warzone may notice that something is missing: The Plunder mode is gone from the current playlist from November 18 to 24, 2021.
What comes instead? There isn’t even the kill variant “Blood Money”. Instead, you will find “Tank Royale 4” an insane mode with customizable trucks.
When will Plunder return? In fact, the classic Plunder is not gone forever. As it stands, Plunder will return in the week from November 24 to 30.
Fans love Plunder to level up
Why do players love Plunder? The Plunder mode is extremely popular for leveling weapons quickly. Therefore, there is always an uproar, when developers remove the popular mode.
A user on reddit summarized during a previous disappearance of Plunder what was so good about the mode:
- In Plunder, you still get a decent amount of XP for the weapon when you eliminate a team
- Overall, there is much more XP at the end of the match in Plunder
- The game is very dynamic and it is not just about camping and sniping
Other players on reddit agree and praise Plunder. The following comment summarizes it well:
I wanted to bring a friend into Warzone by playing a few Plunder games with him. Picking up contracts, testing equipment, fighting other teams we encounter, and getting to know the general layout of the map. […]. Yes, Plunder is an XP farm, but it is also a way for players to learn how Warzone works. […] If you jump into BR right away, you learn nothing at all. You get smashed before you even know what you’re doing.
