In CoD Warzone you can currently face a special challenge in the Hardcore mode “Iron Trials 84”, where there is less loot, stronger enemies, and more pace. What happened? Pro gamer Joseph “JoeWo” Wohala was playing in the Iron Trials 84 in Warzone and deeply engaged with the new gameplay there. He played solo in duo mode and used an unusual loadout to achieve a total of 30 kills before unfortunately exiting as the third place in the endgame of the round.

What is Iron Trials 84? This new mode is temporarily in Warzone and brings a heavily altered gameplay experience. The TTK (Time To Kill, that is, the time it takes to kill an opponent on average) is much higher since the characters have more than twice as much health.
Additionally, there is less loot and you especially have to make sure to have enough money to buy your loadout.
Iron Trials shakes up the meta – New weapons and tactics are needed
How did he manage to get so many kills? Despite the much tougher opponents, who often flee after a first mistake and regroup, JoeWo managed to achieve an impressive 30 kills. He owes this to a weapon that was first OP in Season 4 and then got heavily nerfed: the MG 82.
This machine gun was very strong at first, but then it got nerfed and since then it has not appeared among the absolute top weapons in regular Warzone, where currently the RPD stands in our list.
In Iron Trials, however, the MG 82 shines due to its large ammunition capacity, still solid damage, and especially low recoil, allowing it to unleash a large amount of bullets without significant deviation.
This directly plays into the new meta of the Iron Trials, where it is essential to engage in longer fights and chases with a weapon that reliably fires bullets throughout the entire combat duration.
What is his loadout? His primary weapon was an MG 82 with the following attachments:
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 16.4” Task Force
- Scope: Axial Arms 3x
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Handle: Serpent Wrap
These upgrades make the weapon a very solid kill instrument with plenty of ammunition and virtually no recoil due to the grip and underbarrel. This allows you to reliably pump a lot of bullets into the opponent: Ideal for chases in the Iron Trials, where you need to quickly finish off a wounded enemy before they escape.
His secondary weapon was an SMG of the type Bullfrog with the following equipment:
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 7.4” Task Force
- Stock: Spetsnaz PKM Stock
- Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
- Magazine: 65 rounds
The Bullfrog is a weapon that JoeWo already likes to use in regular Warzone, and in Iron Trials, the SMG can quickly shred enemies at close range. Thus, once again, a weapon that is ideal for finishing off fleeing opponents.
JoeWo’s entire setup was therefore aimed at overwhelming opponents with a very aggressive playstyle and forcing them to kneel with constant suppressive fire.
