In Call of Duty: Warzone 2 players can now join opposing teams through a simple feature. MeinMMO tells you how to do it.
It’s here, Season 1 of CoD Modern Warfare 2 is here and also Warzone 2 is online.
Several hours before the originally indicated release, you can already form a squad with your friends and dive into the battlefield of the highly anticipated battle royale shooter – but you can’t only play with your friends.
As the online magazine CharlieIntel reports on Twitter, it should also be possible to join an opposing squad in Warzone 2. CoD fans on reddit describe the new feature with the simple motto: “If you can’t beat your enemies, join them.”
Warzone Uses Emotes Not Just for Dancing
How can I join opponents? You can join an opposing team in Warzone 2 through the emote wheel. There, there is the option to “request to join enemy squad”.
If the opposing squad accepts your request, you will become a member of their squad. Conversely, the feature should work the same way: An enemy player can request to join your squad, and your team has the option to accept or decline the request.
This feature thus offers the first opportunity to join enemies through the emote wheel. Emotes are used in most games, for example, to perform dances or greet other players gesturing.
