In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 you can choose from a variety of weapons and perks to find the perfect gear for you. It is completely normal for some gadgets to be better and others worse. However, there is currently one perk that is so strong that it dominates its entire category.
Which perk is it? In CoD MW3, you can wear different boots and make changes to your movement, for example. This allows you to increase your movement or climbing speed or extend the duration of your tactical sprint.
However, the perk “Stealth Sneaker” is currently so strong that it wipes the floor with the other boot options. You unlock the stealth sneakers at level 25.
Boots that let you sprint silently
What can the perk do? The stealth sneakers prevent footstep sounds. So you can flank your opponents much more effectively with these boots, as they may not hear you.
Footstep sounds play an important role in many shooters. Whether you are holding a fixed position or moving a lot, it can be a significant advantage if you can hear approaching enemies in time.
A perk that reduces footstep sounds can bring you free kills against your opponents, as they rely too much on their hearing. Some players on Reddit also agree with this.

What do players say about the perk? The strength of the perk is also discussed by players on Reddit. The user jaymelo_9 believes that the stealth sneakers are easily the first choice for boots and overshadow every other option (via Reddit).
Other users also believe that the stealth sneakers are very strong and use them:

Nevertheless, there are also some players in the Reddit thread who use other boots – if only in a few classes. One user explained that he does not play the stealth sneakers on his LMG classes. With an LMG, you wouldn’t want to be quiet anyway.
Many users who rely more on other boots play them mainly out of personal preference. For some, improved sliding is simply more important than silent steps.
