Since the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, players have discovered many types of bugs, which are mostly just annoying. Now, a glitch has finally been found that invites a smile. Players immediately demand: “Leave it in!”
What kind of error is this? The glitch affects fallen soldiers who receive a “Executor” at an inappropriate moment. These are execution moves in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, for which you need to sneak up on the enemy from behind.
What’s going on? When you execute a “Executor” on an enemy soldier while they are reloading, the operator seems so startled that they continue trying to stuff bullets into the magazine even in death.
The hands of the fallen opponents simply do not want to give up the fight and continue trying to support their team despite the obvious hopelessness of the situation.
It’s hard to say if it’s scary, racy, or funny. In any case, it’s beautifully stupid, and especially the last scene with the waving operator “Bale” has caught many players off guard.
What do the players say about it? The thread on reddit has gathered over 15,000 upvotes (February 29, 10 AM) and is filled with silly remarks and demands to keep it just as it is.
- optom: “IW, please don’t fix this”
- Catching Windows: “No, this is creepy. I really need to get out of here”
- Inqlis: “Activision uses every excuse they can find to throw a new patch at us. To fix this, it should take a maximum of 38 GB, I believe.”
- Significant_Royal: “That’s just a flesh wound” – “Bro, you’re dead” – “Nah, let me reload and I’ll get him”
- Dudeman2777: “Why do I find this somehow cute?”
The brainless fingers hit the humor of many players who enjoy this “feature” immensely.
What other craziness can I experience in Modern Warfare? There are a few mechanics in the shooter that go a bit overboard, but they don’t ruin the game.
- Supply crates as target-seeking missiles
- Mean killer chairs that take out soldiers
- Rocket experiments with thermite and gas grenades
Have you ever encountered a really funny bug in a game? The developers probably didn’t find it so funny that a mode gave too much XP:
