Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 offers its players not only plenty of action but also a mission in its campaign that teaches players about fear. For a brief period, players are confronted by a horde of dolls.

Which mission is it about? While going through the campaign, you will also have to complete the mission “Origins”. It is the fifth mission in the story. Here, Case, the playable protagonist, is on his own because he was separated from his team due to an accident.

What happens in the mission? Actually, Case wanted to complete the mission together with his colleagues Marshall and Sev, but they are separated by an accident. In the process, Case’s gas mask breaks, and he breathes in the toxic fumes that lead to hallucinations.

Continuously, Case imagines zombies rushing at him that he must shoot down. However, he not only imagines zombies, but monsters and dolls are also part of the experience.

In one section, Case finds himself in office rooms. Here he needs to collect report books. When he does this, the dolls spawn behind him after picking them up.

They are scattered in the room and positioned in a way that simulates an office situation. They stand or sit, but as soon as the player looks away, the dolls move and run towards the player. Their movements cannot be seen, only the clattering of their limbs can be heard.

How does the community react? On Reddit, a player posted a meme that addresses the mission. He contrasts the expectations and the reality of the mission:
