Apex Legends has a problem with flying dragons. They sail through the sky and steal your hard-earned loot!
What is up with the “dragons”? Not only in the MMORPG ESO are dragons on the loose. Suddenly, dragon-like creatures have appeared in the SciFi battle royale Apex Legends. These so-called Flyers were leaked in advance and briefly shown in a video at E3 2019.
Now they have suddenly appeared in the game, where they can occasionally be seen in the sky.

What do the dragons do? However, anyone who thinks that the dragons are now attacking vulnerable players from the air and tearing them apart is mistaken. Because the creatures seem to be scavengers and food thieves.
Many players, including our readers Veto-x and blumenton (Thanks for the tip!), report that the dragons simply brazenly steal their loot!
“The dragons are already within the map and can also be shot down from the sky (relatively easy, 100 damage points). The dragon did not attack but had a player’s death crate in its claws, which fell to the ground after being shot down and was lootable as well.”
Apparently, the beasts are specifically looking for the boxes that dead players leave behind and simply take them with them! When you shoot the dragons, they fall to the ground along with their ill-gotten loot.

Update: Some players pointed out to us that the dragons do not actively steal loot, but have been carrying boxes with the names of players from the friends list of active players since the start of the game. They are therefore less thieves and more cleverly staged loot carriers.

And in the E3 video, there was an even larger beast shown, whose eye filled the entire screen. Season 2 is coming to the game on July 2, 2019. There should still be a lot happening with the monsters until then.
