In the new action game SWORN on Steam, you fight alone or in co-op with up to four players through Camelot and face a dark Round Table. The game has now made a strong start in Early Access.
What kind of game is this? SWORN is a co-op action game for 1 to 4 players, developed by Windwalk Games and published by Team17. The game has been available in Early Access on Steam since February 6, 2025.
Players explore a fallen Camelot, now under the rule of a dark King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. The game combines roguelike elements with intense combat, allowing players to face the corrupted knights alone or together.
What does the Early Access version look like? The current Early Access version of SWORN contains enough content to keep players engaged for several hours. There are four fully developed characters, each with four different weapons and spells as well as individual skill trees.
So far, four different biomes are available for exploration, where players can encounter familiar allies and enemies from the Arthurian legend. For example, you can meet Merlin or the Lady of the Lake, Nimue.
Early Access with big plans
When will the full version be released? The full version of SWORN is planned for summer 2025. During the Early Access phase that runs until then, the game will be expanded through four major updates bringing new content such as additional weapons, abilities, and biomes, as well as improvements to the co-op experience and balance.
The developers want to use the Early Access phase to gather feedback from the community and continuously optimize the game.
