During E3 2021, Bethesda announced the new game Party Animals for Xbox. In it, various cute animals fight against each other to eliminate the other players. The release for Xbox and Game Pass is scheduled for 2022.
What kind of game is this? In Party Animals, puppies, kittens, ducks, and other cute animals beat each other up. A special physics is used, resulting in seemingly random and floppy movements. This not only looks hilarious but also leads to unpredictable combat actions.
Party Animals is a multiplayer game and promises a lot of fun in both an online and local multiplayer mode. Well-known modes include:
- Snatch Squad – A mode where a special item must be won, which could be a giant gummy bear. Players are divided into 2 teams.
- Last Stand – A mode where everyone fights for survival against each other.
In terms of presentation, it somewhat resembles Fall Guys, which conquered the streaming platform Twitch in 2020. And hey, there is similar gameplay here, but with cute dogs!
When is Party Animals coming out? Party Animals was first mentioned on Twitter in 2019. It was originally supposed to be released at the end of 2020. There are already some gameplay videos on YouTube. The game was available in an open test version from June to October 2020.
However, the game has not yet been released. According to the trailer from the Bethesda event at E3 2021, Party Animals is coming in 2022 for Xbox and Game Pass. Additionally, the game is listed on Steam.
