There are components in The First Descendant that particularly help you to get shot less often and to hope for help.
The 14 different classes of The First Descendant, called descendants, differ not only in their abilities. They also have different values. For example, an Ajax, which acts as a classic tank, has more health points and higher defense than the nimble Bunny.
It is therefore known in the community of the loot shooter: Somewhere there is always a Bunny in the dirt waiting to be revived by an Ajax.
If you are constantly getting shot down by enemies and rely on the help of your allies, you should look for certain components.
External components with double rolls provide double boosts
What are components? In The First Descendant, you can enhance your character by equipping external components. These have a fixed value that they increase and a random one. There are a total of four different slots for external components:
- Auxiliary Energy
- Sensor
- Storage
- Processor
The fixed value that a component increases depends on the respective set to which the component belongs. The “HP Support” set, for example, increases health points (HP). The “Supernova” set boosts your defense (DEF).
Which components should you equip? If you want to end up in the dirt less often, you should try to increase your health points or your defense. Choose a component that increases the desired value and farm it accordingly.
Your goal when farming is to get a so-called double roll. This refers to components where the fixed and random values are the same. A processor from the Supernova set would thus increase the defense value by 2x.
