In the action-comedy “Inspector Gadget,” the secret message of a disgruntled Disney employee is hidden, as a reddit user discovered recently. If you stop the film at the right moment, you can see it.
Inspector Gadget
is an action and comedy film from Disney. It was released in 1999 and is a remake of the eponymous animated series.
It is about an inspector who needs to undergo surgery after an accident. The surgeon Brenda turns him into a kind of cyborg and equips his body with sometimes more, sometimes less helpful gadgets. This is supposed to assist him in facing his arch-nemesis Claw.
However, if you stop the Disney film from 1999 at the right moment, you will discover an evil message to the film company.
Here you can see an English trailer for Inspector Gadget:
Hidden Insult to Disney
reddit user tiffyp_01 recently posted a discovery: Within the montage sequence of Inspector Gadget
is the secret message of a Disney employee to the company.
To see the message, you need to pause at the moment when a newspaper is displayed. If you then look at the initial letters of the lines at the bottom right, they vertically read a message: Fuck Disney
.
Apparently, a disgruntled employee cleverly vented his frustration by embedding his message well-hidden in the film. Here on Youtube you can see the scene with the media montage yourself.
Disney celebrated its 100th anniversary this year. Here you can find an interview with our Filmstarts colleagues with Disney Animation Studios President Clark Spencer.
