In Monster Hunter Wilds, everything revolves around hunting powerful beasts. However, those who are patient will be rewarded with special moments that resonate well within the community.
What kind of moments are we talking about? In Monster Hunter Wilds, the seamless world with its sophisticated ecosystem plays a special role. There is plenty for hunters to discover, from herds of smaller monsters roaming around, to flying monsters soaring in the sky, and bustling packs of small animals darting through the savanna.
The focal point of the game is the hunt for large, powerful monsters. However, one should not attack them too quickly, as they also offer various interactions with their environment, which are worth being patient for. Currently, the community is especially celebrating some of these interactions.
“I had no idea he was a non-aggressive monster!”
Which monsters are being celebrated by the community? Across various social media channels, fans are thrilled by the interactions that the large monsters show them. For instance, user drayne_sahane shares a clip on TikTok where he observes Chatacabra chilling in the water (via Tiktok). User Kevin Naro Viera comments that it feels like watching a documentary on the Discovery Channel.
However, one monster grabs the most attention with its animations, and that is none other than the flagship monster Arkveld. In a thread on Reddit, an animation of it looking around clumsily and playing with its chains has become very popular.
Another animation is shared by KogiMH via YouTube:
In this one, you can see Arkveld drawing circles in the sand with its chains.
The community is quite fond of this actually quite cute monster:
- For instance, krisrod1478 writes via YouTube: “I love how Arkveld is just chilling there, it’s so damn cute!”
- Thisnameworksiguess comments via Reddit: “I had no idea he was a non-aggressive monster! It’s time to follow the big guy and see what he gets up to.”
- HungryGull responds: “The animation where it sits down and slowly whirls its whips makes it look like a big kitten”
Players share their joy about their observations and also recommend to other hunters to take a moment during their expeditions to stop and observe the monsters. One could then be pleasantly surprised by one or another.
