Kaiju No. 8 (Season 2)

What is it about? Japan is attacked by gigantic monsters, called Kaiju. An elite military unit is responsible for exterminating the monsters. Childhood friends Kafka and Mina vow to one day land in the elite unit. Mina succeeds, but Kafka repeatedly fails the admission test and becomes a crime scene cleaner.
But one fateful day, he encounters a parasite that flies into his mouth. Kafka can then transform himself into a Kaiju and attempts to join the elite team once again. Season 2 picks up from the end of Season 1 and deals with the Kaiju Weapon Arc, where Kafka is used as a weapon by the elite unit.
Who is it suitable for? Kaiju No. 8 is an action-heavy anime, which is especially suitable for fans of Godzilla and other gigantic monsters. However, even viewers who have no interest in gigantic monsters might enjoy it due to the action focus.
Dandadan (Season 2)

What is it about? In Dandadan, the tough Momo and the geeky Okarun come together. While Momo believes in ghosts, Okarun is firmly convinced of the existence of aliens. They try to convince each other that their respective being exists – with severe consequences for Okarun’s private parts.
Since the 1st season ended with a cliffhanger, Season 2 will pick up right where it left off. Momo and Okarun are helping Jiji, Momo’s childhood friend, to exorcise an evil spirit from his house. However, it turns out that the mission is more than just simple exorcism.
Who is it suitable for? Due to the wild genre mix and the alternating moods in the individual episodes, Dandadan might overwhelm anime newcomers. But those who embrace the turbulent mix will find a new favorite anime in Dandadan. Individual episodes have even managed to achieve an almost perfect rating on IMDb.
