- The game has been nominated for multiple awards and has over 90% positive reviews on Steam, making it the highest-rated souls-like of 2023 there.

The developers have multiple offers for adaptations
Could the game come to theaters? Lies of P is considered by many to be one of the best games of 2023. Some filmmakers have apparently noticed this and found a liking for a more adult Pinocchio film.
The director of the game, Jiwon Choi, revealed in an interview with Gamerant,
There are certainly stories that we couldn’t introduce in the game, and I think that makes players wonder if the studio Round8 is willing to tell these stories in other media forms. We have already received offers from various parties regarding this.

Choi didn’t want to specify what the offers are. However, since the curse of bad video game adaptations has apparently been broken in recent years, a cinematic adaptation of Lies of P seems likely. So you might be able to watch the game in theaters in the foreseeable future instead of struggling with the bosses.
DLC and sequel are already planned
What’s next for Lies of P? The souls-like was so well received by fans in 2023 that the developers are already working on a sequel. However, first, a new DLC will expand the game. These two projects are at the top of the priority list, Choi revealed. What happens afterward is still uncertain:
