Rebirth Online

What kind of game is this? Rebirth Online is a new Free2Play MMORPG that started Early Access on Steam on August 3. The game visually resembles Bless Online and aims to deliver the usual content of the genre, including:
- An exciting and action-packed combat system
- An open world that is supposed to accommodate hundreds of players
- Four playable classes – Ranger, Wizard, Hunter, Berserker
- Various dungeons and raids
- Crafting
- Different types of equipment and skills
- Various PvP modes

How is Rebirth Online doing currently? At launch on Steam, the game was brutally torn apart. A day after release, Rebirth Online had 90 % negative reviews. Now there are “only” 62 % negative, but most still advise against the game.
The biggest criticism is that it resembles a mobile MMORPG. The graphics and interface are designed accordingly; the maximum resolution is only 1680×1050. Additionally, there is auto-combat, and the default language is not English, which makes switching initially difficult.
The criticism about the mobile appearance is not unfounded, as the Korean developer Caret Games already has Rebirth M, a pure mobile game from 2017, in its portfolio. It obviously serves as a kind of PC port of that title.
That’s why I believe Rebirth Online will die in 2022: I already assumed in 2021 that Rebirth Online would die. For some reason, it has managed to stay alive so far.
Currently, there are about 16 players on average. At peak times, only 73 people played simultaneously, which is a weak value.
Rebirth Online is not a good game on PC. Therefore, I consider it likely that this version will be shut down in 2022, despite still being in Early Access.
Rebirth M for smartphones, however, is likely to survive a bit longer. The game scores 4.1 stars in the Play Store with over 8,000 reviews.
