I opened 150 card packs in Hearthstone – This many legendaries were inside

There are 150 card packs from Hearthstone as a gift. I opened them all and noted how many common, rare, epic, and legendary cards I drew.

Why 150 card packs? First: No, I did not invest 180 € in Hearthstone to present my results to you. Thanks to a promotion from Blizzard, I (and many other players) received up to 150 card packs for free.

What is the chance of legendary cards?

This is how I proceeded: The 150 card packs are divided into packages from Castle Nathria and standard cards. I opened the 75 Nathria card packs first and noted the drawn cards. Then the standard cards.

Here’s what was in the Nathria packs: From the 75 packs, I drew:

• 265 common cards (including 5 golden and common)
• 86 rare cards (including 6 golden and rare)
• 18 epic cards
• 6 legendary cards

• 269 common cards (including 6 golden and common)
• 89 rare cards (including 5 golden and rare)
• 14 epic cards
• 3 legendary cards

Conclusion: What was in the 150 packs together?

In total, the 150 card packs have a value of 180 €, if purchased in packs of 60 and 15 per set. You received a total of:

• 9 legendary cards
• 32 epic cards
• 175 rare cards
• 534 common cards

Thanks to a few duplicates, I was also able to disenchant over 1,000 dust. Overall, I am satisfied with the yield and hope that you also had good luck and received many card packs from Blizzard. With this overview, you have a rough idea of how the yield could look for you as well.
