Are you still looking for a really good controller for PC or your Xbox? The Razer Wolverine is a highly recommended model. MeinMMO editor Benedikt Schlotmann explains to you why this model might be worth it for you.
I have been using the Razer Wolverine V2 on my home computer for about 3 years now. And for me, the Razer controller is the best choice on PC if you can do without wireless.
A pricey and significantly more extensive alternative for a configurable controller is the Elite Series 2, which costs around 150 euros if you don’t find a good deal.
You can read my review of the Razer Wolverine V2 here on MeinMMO.
Currently, the price for the Wolverine V2 is around 60 euros:

Excellent haptics, especially for large hands
What makes the controller so good? The biggest plus for me is the significantly better haptics compared to the official product, the Xbox Wireless Controller. The grips are rubberized, while the standard Microsoft controller is very smooth. This makes playing much more enjoyable.
The haptics of the buttons, the “clicky” feel is another plus. Because of this, I feel much more precise than with other controllers. The mecha-tactile buttons and the D-pad feel great.
And because I read the criticism under almost every review of Razer hardware: The controller has never let me down in the last 3 years, and I normally use the controller several times a week. Or my partner plays with it on her computer.
What problems are there? The controller can only be used wired, and the cable is also not removable. This is annoying, but I haven’t had a cable break in recent years. Still, it is also frustrating that the cable is not removable for storing the controller.
Some buttons are also placed a bit awkwardly on the top of the controller, next to the trigger buttons. For smaller hands, they are only partially reachable: While I can press the buttons well, my partner has difficulty reaching the buttons on the back.
There are also no real paddles, but I don’t miss them either. However, I have come to appreciate the two paddles with the DualSense Edge on the PS5 (for the test) very much.
Also a bit annoying is the software. Many buttons can be remapped, but only through Razer’s software.
In practice, the Elite Series 2 from Microsoft is still the better product, but it also costs 80 to 100 euros more (depending on the offers). In most situations, however, the Wolverine V2 is more than sufficient for me without really missing all the extras from the Elite Series 2.
