The Twitch streamer Erik “Gronkh” Range created a Sims family in a Let’s Play 13 years ago, whose cult status continues to this day. Now the family has made it into the global character library of the new game InZoi, as he says.
What kind of family is this? In a Let’s Play of Sims 3, Gronkh created a family 13 years ago, whose legacy still lives on in his community. This family consists of Frikadella, Tränenmond, and Friedolin Schlömpel, affectionately called “The Schlömpels”.
They are exaggerated characters. Frikadella is chubby, has blonde hair, and usually wears pink. Tränenmond is skinny, has black hair, and resembles a witch in appearance. Friedolin is the direct opposite of Frikadella in build and wears glasses.
Gronkh originally created the characters in Sims 3, then recreated them in a subsequent Sims 4 Let’s Play and played with them.

How did the family make it into InZoi? The character editor in InZoi is very detailed and allows players to modify their characters as finely as possible. Players can showcase their characters and share them, so that they can be played by other players. The “Top 100 Characters” from InZoi are showcased in a global digital library.
Even the three members of the Schlömpel family found their way to InZoi. It seems that this was received so well that the famous Gronkh family reached number 1 in the InZoi library, as Gronkh laughed during his stream.
How does Gronkh react? Gronkh indirectly apologizes to the creators of InZoi in a stream excerpt:
I had to laugh so much. (…) I really hope that we didn’t mess something up for Crafton, because they would like to showcase something different. (…) Well, what can you do? It’s not very representative, but hey.

Actually, this library is probably intended for showcasing particularly beautiful InZoi characters, but the Schlömpel family seems to be well-received by the InZoi community.
Not only do Gronkh’s characters make it into other games, but the YouTuber himself does too.
