The Twitch streamer Asmongold is considered an MMORPG nerd and seems to make an effort to fulfill just about every stereotype. His chaotic house is already well-known beyond his community. In a recent stream, his father appeared and complained about the mess.
The Twitch streamer Asmongold has built a reputation as a stereotypical gaming nerd:
- He presents himself as a light-shy gamer
- His chaotic streaming room has become something of a running joke
- Additionally, the streamer seems to enjoy telling somewhat disgusting anecdotes and making the viewers guess how much of it is actually true
Some viewers have been wondering for some time how much of this is part of the “Asmongold” persona, and how streamer Zack actually lives. You get interesting insights, for example, when Asmongold has visitors who comment on his living conditions.
In a recent stream, Asmongold’s father was a guest and immediately complained about the disorder of his son.
Asmongold had to clear a path for his father
What did the father have to say? In the stream from January 7, 2024, Asmongold’s father appeared and temporarily took over the stream. He reported that his son had picked him up and driven him to his house. However, the father was far from pleased with the disorder.
“I couldn’t even walk through the living room to go to the toilet,” said Asmongold Senior. He told the streamer that if he tripped over something at night, he would throw all that stuff out. Asmongold then cleared a path for him while complaining the whole time – something he vehemently denies.

The clip made it to r/LivestreamFail, probably the largest streaming community on Reddit, where it was widely discussed. However, many users do not find the actually harmless bickering between father and son amusing.
Most seem to be somewhere between bewildered and concerned about Asmongold’s apparent living conditions.
Others cannot understand why Asmongold, despite his wealth, does not simply hire a cleaner to regularly keep things tidy when he cannot manage it himself. His Twitch colleague xQc did just that: 27-year-old millionaire streams while cleaners tidy up his trash-filled room, feeling so ashamed
