In Genshin Impact introduced a really cool character named Dehya in Update 3.5. However, MeinMMO editor Marie Friske actually just wishes that the version would finally come to an end.
Since March 1, 2023, Version 3.5 has been running in Genshin Impact, bringing players the highly anticipated flame-haired Dehya.
But even though I like the content of the new update, I have my reasons for longing for a quick end.
Dehya is one of the coolest characters in Genshin Impact, even though she has weaknesses
Dehya is a mercenary we get to know during the Sumeru Archon Quest. It quickly becomes clear that behind her tough exterior is a soft person with a huge heart.

Dehya often helps others at her own expense: Once she secretly sells her sword to support her employer’s project with an ‘anonymous donation’.
And yes, I am fully aware that her kit is not the best and players are quite disappointed with her abilities. However, since I choose my characters based on sympathy, the skill set is personally secondary for me.
Although I find Dehya really cool, I will not pull for her, nor will I for the other great characters of the version: Cyno, Kamisato Ayaka and Shenhe.
To be honest, Version 3.5 cannot pass quickly enough for me. Not because I don’t like the current update with its banners – quite the opposite. But simply because I am so looking forward to the characters of the next version that they cannot come to the game quickly enough for me.
I want Baizhu – Now!
With the next version, two absolute fan favorites are likely to come as playable characters in Genshin Impact: We are talking about Baizhu and Kaveh.
I am particularly excited about the green-haired apothecary from Liuye. This goes so far that I have already created a savings plan for Baizhu based on leaks.
The mysterious man with the talking snake caught my attention from the first moment and has since been at the top of my must-have-at-any-cost list.
But it doesn’t stop with Baizhu alone. As a great extra, Kaveh will soon arrive with a fancy suitcase. He is an architect in Sumeru and also the roommate of Alhaitham. The two always end up bickering like an old married couple – I love it.
That I might be able to welcome Dehya in my team in the future is not that unlikely. Because it is already certain: After the current version, she will be added to the standard banner.
Until then, however, it is about being patient and counting the days until Baizhu finally makes his big appearance in Genshin Impact.
