In the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), you can earn a beautiful mount. However, the Indrik is only available for a short time, and MeinMMO author Larissa Then really wants one. We show you how she and you can still get it.
Now it’s time, after two years the Indrik is disappearing from ESO. At least for those who have not yet earned it. This pretty mount is one of the few that we could obtain without the crown shop and real money, and that too in different forms.
However, there is one last chance for an Indrik, and I want to make use of it. Many of you may already have such a mount. However, I, MeinMMO author Larissa Then, have only been actively playing again for a few months and have missed out on the Indrik so far.
There were just too many other things to do and test. I even tried grinding and spent time on housing, where I found really useful items.
So far, I have only obtained a few feathers and really want to earn the rest. Especially since there’s a cool mount for which we don’t have to pay money.
In any case, I want to get a growing Indrik, but what I really wish for is to grab the new Purple Indrik. It will be tight, but doable. For those who don’t understand a thing, MeinMMO has information on how everything works.
Getting an Indrik – here’s how
The first Indrik: The majestic deers are only available in ESO this year, so I should hurry. To do this, I need to participate in the upcoming events and secure event tickets.
I can exchange these tickets with the merchant Impresaria for Indrik feathers. She is located near Daggerfall, Davon’s Watch, and Vulkhel Guard. There are four feathers for 10 event tickets each, and I need to collect them all:
- Emerald Indrik Feather
- Golden Indrik Feather
- Onyx Indrik Feather
- Opal Indrik Feather
For these four feathers and the first 40 event tickets, I will get a growing Indrik. I only need two of the four feathers, which means I need 20 more tickets.
Once I have them, I will go to my collection under Fragments to combine the feathers. Then I will have achieved my first goal and unlocked the deer as a mount, or at least I hope so.
An advanced Indrik: Then it gets serious, I want to further develop my Indrik and change its appearance. For this, I need Indrik berries for 10 event tickets each. In the past months, there have been various types of Indrik berries.
Each quarter the berries were of a different type, resulting in different Indriks. At the first event, the first berry was always available, and at the last event, eventually all:
- A Blossom Berry
- A Sprout Berry
- A Growth Berry
- A Ripening Berry
To further develop my Indrik, I need another 40 event tickets. Since I missed the berries of the other quarters, and they cannot be combined, I can no longer obtain the remaining Indriks.
So in 2020, I have only one more chance. For the upcoming events, there will be the Purple Indrik, for which the first image was released on October 15:

For my dream of the fancy Purple Indrik, I still need 60 out of 80 event tickets. So far, three events are announced for the rest of the year that are enough to at least obtain the growing Indrik.
- The Witches Festival from October 22 to November 3 – There I receive a daily event ticket for Demora’s Plunder Skull.
- The Celebrations of the Undaunted from November 25 to December 8 – Here I get my event tickets when I complete a dungeon. For the final boss, there are three tickets.
- And the New Year’s Festival from December 17 to January 5, 2021 – Here I receive tickets for each first completed daily quest.
Depending on the event, I can farm 1-3 event tickets daily. I always need to keep an eye on my amount. I can only have a maximum of 12 tickets at a time and I prefer to spend 10 with Impresaria as soon as I have them.
If I want to collect my 60 tickets by the end of the year, I need to hustle, as I have only about 47 event days available. If I had needed all 80, it would have been nearly impossible, as with all event days, you barely miss the 80 tickets.
If things really get tough and only a few tickets are missing, I might consider using the crown store. A ticket costs 250 crowns there, and I still have some leftover from my membership anyway. The Indrik is definitely worth it to me.
