What is the update situation for Hytale? Only four days after the release of Hytale, the first update for the game was released. Here, some minor improvements were made, while the developers also announced further planned enhancements and additions.
In Update 2, which also only took a few days to arrive, there were already some small contents added to the Minecraft competitor. Of course, further updates are planned, but they will also take some time.
New content every two to six weeks
What updates are coming in the future? In a post on X, the developer Simon announced the upcoming updates for Hytale. In the future, the rhythm for updates is to be adjusted. The focus should rather be on testing the new features before they make it into the game.
Every week, experimental builds should be released to test new features. However, these will be unstable and are intended to gather feedback.
Meanwhile, the main version of the game is expected to receive updates less frequently, about every two to six weeks, and only when the new features are in a good state. These releases should be announced in a timely manner so that players can prepare for the changes and explore the new content at their leisure.
Additionally, this would give servers and modders more time to adjust to the changes.
