A player is facing a massive problem with his world in Hytale and receives support of an unprecedented kind.
What is the problem? When a player logged into his world after the update, he found that around his spawn, corrupted chunks with buildings were loaded. His previous chunks, such as trees, meadows, and other nature, were replaced by these constructions.
The buildings actually belong in other biomes, which makes the problem serious, as it strongly indicates a world generation error that could destroy the entire world. This could mean that the world seed has changed, leading to incorrect monsters spawning, buildings appearing as in this case, or other things not functioning as they should.
Desperately, the player asks for help on Reddit and receives it from Hytale itself.

A textbook support
How is the player being helped? The Reddit user Sarc_Hytale, who seems to be part of the Hytale team, took charge of the matter. He explained what steps the player should take to save his world. There is a way to manually change the seed.
Then the supporter also provided him with developer commands to regenerate chunks. This results in the suddenly appeared buildings disappearing, as long as the correct seed is set in the world.
The supporter continuously responded to the player’s follow-up questions. Until now, they had not yet solved the problem, but there is still praise from the community for the help.
How are other players reacting to the news? Although the player reached out on Reddit rather than through Hytale’s ticket system, he received very detailed and personal assistance. This surprises other players in an era of AI support bots and standard responses.
