In Borderlands 3 (PC, PS4, Xbox One), a new update is scheduled for today, October 31. A hotfix is coming tonight; let’s take a look at the patch notes. Meanwhile, something is already happening in the game: The “Haunted” enemies are increasing – their spawn rates are only elevated today. The enemies are essential for the challenges around Bloody Harvest, the Halloween event.
Things are already different in Borderlands 3: At 4:55 PM our time, Gearbox announced via Twitter that there are more “Haunted” enemies in the game than before. This seems to be a Halloween surprise for the Vault Hunters.
These enemies require players for the various tasks in “Bloody Harvest”, the Halloween event of Borderlands 3.
The hunt should therefore be especially worthwhile from our perspective until November 1 at 9 AM. The spawn rate for “Haunted” enemies is reportedly only higher today.
It is said: Today would be a super day to tackle the challenges of the event “Bloody Harvest”.
A new patch comes tonight – Patch Notes
When does the patch come?? A hotfix is also planned. It should be deployed by tonight at 11 PM at the latest.
What does the patch change? This time there are only balance changes. The patch mainly concerns removing so-called “progression blockers” from the game. They have responded to fan feedback and have repaired several quests and solved smaller issues:
- There were issues when trying to use fast travel in the quest “Footsteps of Giant” – this has now been fixed
- Additionally, they have repaired the lettering on the legendary sniper rifle “Stalker” – nothing on the weapon itself was changed
- The hotfix resolves many collision issues in Borderlands 3
- Troy should now spawn with a pistol
- The “On the BloodPath” mission has been fixed
There was one change to a weapon. The shotguns from “Tediore E-Tech” will now deal 50% more damage. There was a bug before.
You can read the full patch notes in English here (via borderlands.com).
“No Nerfs – No Salt”
This is the feedback: On reddit, they are discussing the patch and noting that there are hardly any balance changes this time. This would also mean there is no salt, referring to complaints.
In general, Gearbox is currently praised for their patches.
However, some would have liked to see Borderlands revert the nerfs for Moze.
