3. Morel – The Giant Smoking Pipe
Who is he? Morel Mackernasey is an experienced Hunter and member of the Hunter Association. He belongs to the Sea Hunters – a special class of Hunters who specialize in exploring the seas and finding rare animals or valuable treasures.
Morel appears in the Chimera Ant
arc, where he, along with Netero, the chairman of the Hunter Association, and Knov, another experienced Hunter, fights against the increasingly intelligent Chimera Ants. The three manage to gradually reduce the enemy numbers.
What does he use as a weapon? Morel’s weapon is a giant pipe that he uses both as a tool for generating smoke and for manipulating that smoke. The pipe is fundamental to his Nen technique, “Deep Purple”.
With this technique, he can produce large amounts of smoke that he can use in various ways. He can create whatever he wants with it – whether it be barriers, objects, or even up to 216 soldiers to fight on his behalf.
