Place 7: Johanna Mason
The rebellious Johanna Mason speaks her mind and is not afraid to provoke others with her biting comments. However, she held back during the Hunger Games, at least for a while. She pretended to be a naive and weak little girl. Her plan worked, and she was largely ignored by the other tributes.
When only a few tributes were left, it became clear that Johanna was actually a dangerous and cold-blooded fighter. Coming from District 7, the lumberjack district, she had learned to handle an axe from a young age.
With this combination of clever strategy and physical fighting strength, she won her Hunger Games.
She may have lost the element of surprise after her victory. However, she remains an extremely dangerous fighter that one should better not have as an enemy.
- Winner of: 71st Hunger Games
- Age at victory: 17
