After about 57 hours, two streamers on Twitch and YouTube managed to win a round in Fortnite – an unbelievable feat that over 346,000 people watched simultaneously.
Who are the two streamers? These are Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed. Kai is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, while IShowSpeed streams on YouTube and is very successful there.
The two streamers have set a seemingly simple goal for their collaboration event: to win a round in the OG Ranked mode of Fortnite. After about 57 hours, they succeeded, but the way there was anything but easy.

Why did it take so long? As MeinMMO reported earlier, stream snipers caused significant trouble for both streamers. They specifically target streamers and gain an unfair advantage by tracking the livestream.
The problem became so serious that Fortnite developer Epic Games itself intervened. With their help, they were able to ban many stream snipers from the matches (via Dexerto). Their goal suddenly seemed achievable again.
How many viewers did the two streamers have? According to the X-channel Streams Charts, Kai Cenat peaked at around 160,000 simultaneous viewers. His watch time amounted to around 5 million hours. IShowSpeed had 186,000 viewers with the same watch time.
Altogether, the two streamers had more than 346,000 viewers and a combined watch time of over 10 million hours. However, they had to endure 206 losses before they could end their stream with the one decisive victory.
Kai Cenat is known for his long Twitch streams and recently made a fortune with a single stream. You can read more about it here: “Why do you donate to the rich?” – 22-year-old earns 1 million euros with a single stream on Twitch and more is coming
