Call of Duty: Vanguard has not been released yet, but thanks to a leak, an expert already suspects that the setting for the upcoming CoD game from the year 2022 is known. Additionally, many other games have been leaked, including PS-exclusive titles like God of War.
What has been leaked about CoD 2022? Recently, the Ukrainian data miner Ighor July sifted through the databases of the streaming service GeForce Now. He came across a list of games that had not been announced yet or were previously exclusive to PlayStation.
This was picked up by the well-known leaker and industry expert Tom Henderson (via Twitter). He discovered a title named “Project Cortez” in the code. The game is said to be published by Activision/Blizzard and developed by Infinity Ward.
Thus, it is clear to Henderson: This must be the upcoming CoD game for the year 2022. And since the developers Infinity Ward previously developed CoD Modern Warfare from 2019, which had an open ending, the leaker suspects that this will be a continuation of Modern Warfare.

What else has been leaked? In addition to the interesting leak about the upcoming CoD title 2022, there were many other games mentioned that many PC gamers are bound to pay attention to.
Various games were mentioned that have so far been exclusive to PlayStation, including:
- God of War
- Demon Souls
- Ghost of Tsushima
What kind of list is this? All these games and many more were found in the list from GeForce Now.
GeForce NOW is a streaming service. You cannot buy games there; GeForce NOW merely provides you with the servers, and you stream your own Steam games, for example. Therefore, the list might represent an official compatibility list indicating which games may be supported by GeForce NOW in the future.
However, it is not entirely clear where the list comes from and what it really is. Everything is based on the assumption that this list is indeed legitimate. So what is the credibility of the leak?
How likely is all of this? The list of games itself is by no means official information but comes from the datamining leak. Therefore, it should be treated with a healthy dose of skepticism.
At least one other data miner named Pavel Djundik has researched the Steam IDs and claims to have found legitimate Steam IDs for some games that lead to game pages on Steam.
For other games, including many of the PS exclusives, there were no Steam IDs. According to Pavel Djundik, these could just be placeholders, especially since ID numbers for GeForce Now are also missing from the database.
Nevertheless, there could be more to this, and that would be great news for GeForce Now. The streaming service had to endure a lot in 2020 since publisher Bethesda withdrew from the project.
