Square Enix revealed on a new promotional banner on which platforms their new game, Avenger’s Project, will be released. Almost all systems are included, with PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. Only the Nintendo Switch is missing.
On which platforms will Marvel’s Avengers be released? A few days before their E3 conference, Square Enix released a huge promotional banner with the slogan “Embrace Your Powers.” Coincidentally, it also listed the platforms for which Marvel’s Avengers will be released:
- PC
- Xbox One
- PS4
- Google Stadia

This banner also means that Switch fans will unfortunately miss out on Marvel’s Avengers. Square has not given official reasons for this, but gamers suspect that it might be technically too demanding for the Switch.
However, there is still a possibility that the game will also be released on the PS5 and the next Xbox console.
What fans are speculating about: The official announcement of the platforms for Marvel’s Avengers has sparked many speculations on Reddit. There is still not much known about the game:
- Will there be crossplay between platforms?
- Will it be released in 2019 as a launch title for Stadia?
- What will the setting be?
- What are the chances that Marvel’s Avengers will be an Epic Store exclusive?
The Reddit user Mackertosh17 wrote:
I would think it’s cool if it were an open world in New York, but with character switching like in GTA V. Then you could switch between the Avengers while they handle their own business.
The likelihood of the Avenger’s Project being exclusively available on the Epic Store is quite low, as Square Enix usually releases all its games on its own SE Store as well.
No official release date for Marvel’s Avengers has been announced yet, but an Amazon leak mentioned May 15, 2020, as the launch date. Amazon quickly changed the date afterward.

When will we learn more? Concrete information about Marvel’s Avengers will be available during the E3 conference of Square Enix. It will take place at 3:00 AM in the night from June 10th to 11th.
You can follow the conference with us on the streaming channel MAX. On Tuesday, June 11th, there will be an analysis stream at 3:00 PM with Natascha from Gamestar, Irie, and YouTuber Ninotaku.
