What is House of the Dragon about? The story revolves around House Targaryen and takes place 200 years before the events of the first season of Game of Thrones.
The powerful family rules over Westeros with its mighty dragons. However, a power struggle full of intrigues erupts around the succession to the throne. This develops into a great war, the Dance of the Dragons, and heralds the end of Targaryen rule.

How to watch House of the Dragon for free
Where can I watch House of the Dragon? So far, you could only watch House of the Dragon in Germany via Sky or WOW.
But from January 8, 2024, the Targaryen spin-off will be broadcast for the first time on free TV on ProSieben. A new double episode will be released every Monday at 8:15 PM.
Episodes of the hit series will also be released on the associated streaming service Joyn and made available 8 days before the broadcast – completely free. You only need to register with your email address on the streaming platform to access the content.
Since January 1, 2024, you can already watch the first two episodes on the streaming platform. Through this link, you can go directly to House of the Dragon on Joyn.
