A console command and a mod: This way you can solve your space issues in Starfield while continuing to work hard on the achievements that Bethesda’s sci-fi RPG offers.
Starfield is full of stuff, really full. There is hardly a room where you don’t find 20 items suitable for sale or as decoration. Some clutter their entire spaceship because of this.
But there are solutions for PC. With a small console command, your inventory problems disappear into the depths of space. This would normally disable your achievements, but who wants that so shortly after the release? That’s where a mod helps.

How to increase carrying capacity? You can quickly do this through the cheats / console commands of Starfield. But be careful: You disable the achievements for this save. Further down you will find a mod to reactivate the achievements.
- Console command carry capacity
- Press ‘ö’ to open the cheat console
- Type ‘player.setav carryweight 2000’ into the console
- Press ‘Enter’
- Close the console again with ‘ö’
With the example code, you set your carry weight to 2000. You can increase or decrease the number at your discretion. In the spoiler box, you will find further commands:

- tgm – God mode (health, oxygen, ammunition)
- tim – Immortal
- kah – Kills all hostile NPCs nearby
- killall – Kills all NPCs nearby
- unlock – Opens locked doors / chests
- player.additem 0000000F x – Adds account x-credits
- tm – Disables / enables all user interfaces
- tfc – Free camera
How to reactivate the achievements? You can use a mod for this. But be warned: You have to replace important files of Starfield, which is not without risk. Follow the English instructions step by step and pay attention to details.
If you do something wrong, you may have to reinstall the game completely. In extreme cases, even save files can be lost.

In the comments, a player points out that the mod does not work retroactively without restrictions. If you have already activated the cheat console a few play hours ago, you may not be able to reactivate the achievements.
If you don’t care about the achievements, just use the console commands without the mod.
