You need Zenny for various transactions in Monster Hunter: World.

Method 1: Farm Might Seeds Early in the Game!
Might seeds represent a great way to fill your wallet at the start of the game without having to hunt big monsters or complete complex quests.
The core idea is to sell Might Seeds and fill your wallet. Although you only receive 150 Zenny per sold Might Seed, this can be worthwhile in large quantities.
Unfortunately, Might Seeds are rare and hard to find. The best location is in the Wildspire Wastes near the northern camp:
Search the area for Might Seeds and repeat the process by fast traveling between the camps in the Wildspire Wastes.
You can significantly increase your Might Seed output by cultivating them at the Botanist. The Botanist is located in the trade yard of Astera and allows you to cultivate resources that multiply in this way.
Cultivate Might Seeds and use fertilizer to speed up the process. Now you can just go about your daily business and pick up the Might Seeds at the Botanist in between.
The key: You can simply hoard the Might Seeds. This way, you always have a reserve on hand in case money gets tight.
Method 2: Complete the Investigations!
Investigations are side quests that you can accept at the Resource Center. At the beginning of the game, only a few investigations are available to you. The number grows with your story progression.
This way, you can complete up to 250 investigations. Successfully completing an investigation always rewards you with an amount of Zenny depending on the difficulty.
Some investigations reward you handsomely – up to 10,000 Zenny are offered by some side tasks upon successful completion. Just complete a few investigations in between when you want to catch your breath from the main quests!
Method 3: Use the Bandit Mantle!
Early in the game, you’ll come across items that can be used multiple times but have a cooldown – the mantles. The first one you receive as part of the story is the Ghillie Mantle, which allows you to briefly hide from enemies.
As you progress through the game, you can find more of these mantles – each with unique abilities. By completing the 5-star quest “Redefining the Power Couple”, you receive the Bandit Mantle, one of the best items in the game and THE source of wealth in Monster Hunter: World.
However, you first need to clear the quest – and that is no easy task. You are to face the Rathalos and its female counterpart, the Rathian. Only after defeating both monsters will you receive the mantle from the vendor at the forge.
So what does the mantle actually do? Every time you attack a monster, there is a chance for an item to drop that you can sell. You don’t have to kill the monsters, just attack them.
The stronger the monsters, the better the rewards. If you wear the mantle and it glows golden, an item has dropped for you. You can then sell the items at the trade yard in Astera.
For farming, the Jyuratodus in the Wildspire Wastes is suitable – it is easy to defeat and drops large scales that you can sell for 1,000 Zenny each.
Pro tip: In a group, you can significantly speed up the Zenny farming process. If four hunters wear the mantle at the same time, you also quadruple your yield. However, keep in mind that the mantle doesn’t last forever and has a cooldown.
The greatest effect is achieved if you rotate the activation of the mantle. Player 1 activates the mantle, and everyone benefits. When the effect ends, Player 2 activates their mantle. This way, you maintain the buff continuously.
