What is the GO Fest? The GO Fest is a paid event in Pokémon GO. For about 17 euros, you can buy a ticket and participate.

This is the schedule: On the first day of the GO Fest, the habitat changes every hour. It starts at 10:00 AM and the last spawns disappear at 8:00 PM.
Here are the exact times for the changing habitats:
- 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM – Grass
- 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM – Fighting
- 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM – Friendship
- 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM – Fire
- 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM – Water
- 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM – Grass
- 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Fighting
- 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM – Friendship

This is happening during that time: In total, over 75 different Pokémon are expected to spawn. Each habitat will naturally have different Pokémon that will appear. So, you will receive a lot of new spawns every hour.

These are the challenges: Additionally, there will be a total of 32 challenges that must be completed on this day. These will likely appear per habitat. We here in Germany can actively participate in 10 of the 32 challenges during the GO Fest. Before and after, players in other time zones will have to pick up the pace.
For example, the task for the Friendship habitat is to “Send 100,000 gifts.” All trainers around the world will then try to reach the goal in that hour.
If a total of 24 out of the 32 challenges are completed, there will be 3 events immediately after the GO Fest. They are part of the Hyper Bonus that Niantic has released.
