In Destiny 2 a new bounty is available where you need to find and kill a Silent Reaver. This will bring you top loot!
Who is the Silent Reaver? The Silent Reaver is an enemy that must be eliminated in the weekly bounty called “Wanted: Silent Reaver”. You can find the bounty with Spider – that is the vendor in the Shattered Isles.
What reward will I receive? If you succeed in the bounty, you will receive Powerful Gear. This is random loot that drops items above the soft cap of Power Level 500.
Spider offers a bounty each week that has this powerful gear as a reward. Don’t miss out on the top loot!
Location and Mechanics of the Silent Reaver
Here’s how the bounty works:
Step 1: Go to Spider in the Shattered Isles and buy the bounty “Wanted: Silent Reaver” with 5 Ghost Fragments. You can obtain Ghost Fragments in the Shattered Isles by completing public events or other bounties from Spider.
You must be at least Power Level 500 to accept the bounty. The recommended Power Level is 540. The bounty expires seven days after purchase.
Step 2: Now fly to Earth in the EDZ. There, after accepting the bounty, a new adventure called “Wanted: Silent Reaver” has appeared. Go there and start the adventure.
Step 3: The adventure leads you into a Lost Sector. There you will quickly encounter Shank enemies that drop a charge when defeated. With this charge, you can destroy the machine that generates a shield that blocks your path.
The fight against the Silent Reaver: The mechanics with the boss work similarly. This time, however, it is not the path, but the final boss that is blocked by a shield through which you can’t deal damage.
Therefore, you must defeat Shanks again, which drop charges upon death. You will first throw these charges at the shield generators and later at a Servitor that also generates a shield around the Silent Reaver. Once the Servitor has been destroyed with the charges, you can damage the boss.
After a while, another Servitor appears that sets up the shield again. Repeat the mechanics until the Silent Reaver is defeated.

Phew, the Silent Reaver is quite tough!
If you are having trouble with the Silent Reaver, here are a few tips:
- The recommended Power Level is 540. Since many Guardians have not yet reached this, you should definitely start the adventure in a fireteam.
- The charges are usually located in the middle of enemy territory. Choose your Guardian with the highest Power Level, who can quickly run to the charge, pick it up, and throw it at the Servitor.
- The other Guardians can hide at the entrance during this time. They are pretty safe there.
- Once the Reaver’s shield is down, unleash your Power weapons on him.
To receive the loot, you still need to submit the completed bounty in your inventory.
