In Call of Duty: Warzone, you can currently play the new mode Juggernaut Royale. We explain what this format is all about and give you 4 tips for the fight.
What is Juggernaut Royale? Recently, the big Mid-Season Update brought new content for CoD Modern Warfare and Warzone into the game. This includes, among other things, a new multiplayer map, the new AMR sniper, and a new, limited-time mode Juggernaut Royale.
Juggernaut Royale embodies the familiar battle royale principle of Warzone, spiced up with heavily armored and armed combat suits – the Juggernauts. Many might already know them as a Kill-Streak from traditional multiplayer.
How does Juggernaut Royale work? This mode is played (currently) in a trios format. Three supply drops will be dropped across Verdansk, the game world of Warzone. Each of them contains a Juggernaut suit and a minigun, which you can use to hunt down other players – provided you get to them first. If a Juggernaut player is eliminated and goes to the Gulag, a new suit will be dropped.
In short: In Juggernaut Royale, battles are fought for, in, and against these 3 suits. This is well received by many players. You can find more details here: CoD Warzone: 200-player mode and Juggernaut Royale leaked

3 Tips for Juggernaut Royale in CoD Warzone
Decide how you want to play: Do you just want to have fun with your friends or play seriously for the win? This may sound trivial, but it is essential in this case. Because this strongly influences your further actions and your strategy for the match.
The right timing is crucial: Once you’ve made your decision, the following two approaches are recommended:
- If you want to have fun and don’t care much about the first place, you can move directly to one of the suits after the drop. It will get intense right away. The fight for the Juggernaut suit often escalates into a real massacre – especially when the first player grabs the suit.
- If you want to play for the win, it’s definitely advisable to wait. If you want to grab the suit, it’s much easier in a later stage of a match. You’ll have fewer enemies to deal with, and your chances of getting the suit will significantly improve.
Additionally, approaching the suit-wielder and their team in the early stages of the match is almost like a suicide mission.
Combat the Juggernaut’s firepower with even more firepower: As mentioned – at the beginning it’s almost suicide to engage the suit. It has immense firepower, can easily destroy vehicles, and can take a lot of damage.
It’s advisable to scrape together better equipment before engaging a Juggernaut. They might already be damaged and have less health.
Some helpful options are:
- Launchers and sniper rifles for combat from a safe distance
- Vehicles to ram the Juggernaut
- Machine guns like the Bruen are great for combat – especially in mounted position
- A cluster strike or precision air strike are effective – especially since the Juggernaut moves relatively slowly
Take down the suit-wielder’s team-mates first: What is often crucial in the later stages of the match: Take out the team-mates of the suit-wielder before focusing on the Juggernaut itself.
They are usually well protected by their team-mates. If you’re not careful and too focused on the combat machine, these can easily take you out. Because what many forget: the Juggernaut is the biggest and most spectacular threat in this mode, but far from the only one.
Once you’ve eliminated their squad members, you’ll have an easier time dealing with the behemoth.
