The next event in Pokémon GO is about to start. In addition to a Pokémon debut, there will also be an increased shiny chance and other bonuses waiting for you.
When does the event take place? The “Jump into Spring” event starts on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM. It runs until Monday, April 14, 2025, at 8:00 PM.
How to obtain Cottini? Cottini, the grass-type monster from Generation 8, will debut at the event. It can evolve into Cottomi. You can find the new monster in the wild during the event and in 5 km eggs.

Which Pokémon are in the wild? During the event, there will be several Pokémon that appear more frequently in the wild. Additionally, there will be time periods when extra monsters will appear more often in the wild.

Which Pokémon are in eggs? If you hatch eggs that you obtained during the event, you can receive the following monsters:
2-km eggs:
- Magby*
- Knospi*
- Mantirps*
5-km eggs:
- Remoraid*
- Dartiri*
- Cottini

What bonuses are there in the event? During the event, the following bonuses will be active:
- increased chance of encountering shiny Remoraid and Dartiri
- double duration of lucky eggs
- double candy when hatching eggs
- halved distance for hatching eggs placed in incubators during the event
