Which game is it? We are talking about Battlefield 1 in the PC version. Although the game was released back in 2016, it still excites thousands of players on Steam alone (via steamcharts.com). As one of several soldier classes, you fight your enemies in the brutal battlefields of World War I. There are also quite bizarre, steampunk-inspired weapons and vehicles in use.
The game is still recommended despite its age and has secured 5th place out of 6 in our list of best multiplayer shooters for ages 16 and above.
How to get the game for free: If you want to get Battlefield 1 for PC without additional costs, you should have a subscription to Amazon Prime. On the associated “Prime Gaming” page, there are regularly goodies for games and sometimes even complete games for free. This is currently the case for Battlefield 1. Just follow these steps:
- Sign up for Amazon Prime Gaming (via Amazon.com)
- Scroll down to the “Games with Prime” section
- There you will find Battlefield 1 among others
- Click on “Redeem” and you will receive a code
- You then need to activate it in the EA Origin launcher and you will get the game for download

How long is the offer valid? The free offer for Battlefield 1 is valid from now until August 4, 2021. So make sure to get the free game by then.
What else is coming? With Battlefield 1, it is far from over. EA plans to offer more Battlefield games for free. Therefore, starting August 2, the successor Battlefield V will also be available for free on Origin.
