Skins allow us gamers to dress our favorite characters in a more beautiful outfit. It’s even better when we don’t have to pay for a new skin. In Marvel Rivals, there is now a free skin for the heroine Invisible Woman from the Fantastic 4.
How do you get the skin? On January 10th, Season 1 of Marvel Rivals started. Until the end of the season, you can grab a free skin for the new strategist Invisible Woman if you play in “Competitive” mode.
The skin for the new heroine is called “Blood Shield” and will be awarded to all players who have reached at least the Gold rank in competitive matches. You need to win some matches in that mode to have a chance at the skin. You should receive it when you reach the rank at the beginning of Season 2.
While you can’t see a detailed preview of the skin yet, the small thumbnail suggests that the color concept is based on red and black.
For Invisible Woman, you can also buy some skins in the shop if you don’t want to wait until the start of Season 2. With the skin, the heroine immediately ensured that more players want to play the support class.
Tips for Ranking Up
Here’s how you can reach Gold rank faster: If you’re having trouble reaching Gold rank, you can try some basic tips that might help you climb higher ranks.
- Check out the heroes and their abilities in the Practice Range before searching for a match.
- Don’t play Ranked alone; ideally, always play with a team.
- Focus on team play: communicate and pay attention to what your teammates are doing – even if you’re playing with randoms.
- First learn and master one role (Duelist, Vanguard, Strategist). Each role is played differently, and you can’t possibly perfect all heroes in all three roles in a short time.
If you haven’t followed these tips so far, they can immediately bring a small improvement in your gameplay. However, if you have trouble aiming, aim trainers like Aimlabs can help you. MyMMO editor Dariusz tested the effectiveness of these programs: I played an aim trainer for 100 hours to get better at shooters – but did it really help?
