How long Rayquaza will return: You have the whole month of August to find Rayquaza in raids. The legendary Pokémon will appear starting tomorrow, August 1st, until September 2nd. So, you have a full month to raid.
How to defeat Rayquaza in pairs
What counters are good? Rayquaza is vulnerable to Ice, Rock, and Dragon types. Ice Pokémon are especially a good choice, as Rayquaza has a double weakness against this type.
This helps in battle: Keep in mind that your friendship level makes you stronger in battle. If you have the choice for a duo partner, choose someone with whom you are best friends.
The weather can also play a role. Snow should be very unlikely in summer. So don’t rely too much on the weather.
How to defeat Rayquaza at level 25
What your team should look like: Of course, the selection of Pokémon here is not very large. To have a chance at this level, you need Pokémon that are also at level 25.
These Pokémon are good: If your battle team consists of these three Pokémon, you can defeat Rayquaza:

How to defeat Rayquaza at level 35
What your team should look like: At level 35, you have a very large selection of Pokémon. Besides all the Pokémon we listed above, there is now also the first Rock-type Pokémon that you can use.

How to defeat Rayquaza at level 40
What your team should look like: If you have two players at maximum level, you can set up your team very broadly. This way, you can also easily defeat Rayquaza with Dragon-type Pokémon.
