How to defeat the altered form of Giratina with just three players
Use these counters: A big advantage in the fight against Giratina is its many weaknesses. You can use Pokémon of the types Ice, Ghost, Dark, Dragon, and Fairy.
Use these tips: Fight together with friends with whom you have a high friendship level. That way, you can have a massive bonus in battle, especially when fighting with best friends.
But the weather also plays a role. Fog and snow are currently unlikely, but windy weather occurs more often in autumn. Then, you can effectively use your dragon Pokémon.
In our calculations, however, we did not consider the weather. So even without a weather bonus, you can easily take on Giratina in a trio.

Meet these requirements: At this low level, it is essential that your Pokémon are actually at level 25. You also need to rely on a good friendship level. If you are best friends with all players, it will just about work.

Use these Pokémon: At level 30, you can use Pokémon of all effective types. The selection is large.

Defeat Giratina at level 40 – Here’s how
Meet these requirements: With Pokémon at level 40, you should have no problems in a trio. If you want to let different Pokémon fight, then focus on the friendship level.
Use these Pokémon: In addition to the over 20 Pokémon you can already use, five more monsters are added, provided they are at level 40.
