Nexon has big plans for the MMORPG MapleStory 2 and has now revealed what changes and innovations fans can expect in the upcoming year.

There are many innovations
What’s coming in the next few months? MapleStory 2 has already undergone some changes since its release. However, the coming months will bring much more. In general, the developers explain:
- Content prepared for the update at the beginning of January will be released as planned. Further information will follow in the first week of January.
- The team will discuss important improvement ideas starting in January. A few ideas are already being implemented, but they require further testing to ensure that the changes are beneficial.
- While the developers are working on the changes, some events will start to help players progress faster with the current systems and structures.
- The next major expansion for the MMORPG will be released next summer. In the meantime, there will be some smaller updates.
- In general, the team wants to enhance and improve MapleStory 2 with new content throughout the year.
These events are coming in December: December will already entertain you with two exciting events.
- Holiday Bonus Event (next week until December 31) – If you are level 50 or higher, you will receive a package with a large amount of equipment and resources upon logging in. This includes a Full Epic Set gift, an Epic Armor Set, and an Epic Weapon Selection Box, among many others.
- Fusion Discounts (maintenance next week until December 31) – This event reduces the costs for fragment fusion for accessories. The price of accessory fusions for exceptional and epic accessories is reduced by 50%.

What else is coming? However, that’s not all!
- The housing UI will be revamped in January to make setting up and improving the house run much more smoothly.
- Additional UGC weapon templates will also follow in January.
- New measures will be introduced to combat in-game cheating and issues with real-money trading in the game.
Fans of MapleStory 2 have a lot to look forward to in the coming year.
