In Fortnite, the vaults have been revived, but this time they work differently. How you can still crack them and where you can find them, you’ll find out here on MeinMMO.
How can you still crack the vaults? In Fortnite, there are large vaults at various locations. These are secured with a special lock that requires a certain number of players to be unlocked.
For example, in a team game, you need four people in front of the scanner to crack the lock. But that’s not the only way to get to the treasures behind the steel door.
Thanks to the ingenuity of players in Fortnite, new methods of lock picking are coming to light. Reddit user NoOneKnowsNova posted a picture with the realization that even a simple chicken is sufficient, as the scanner does not distinguish between human and animal.
You can not only use your own teammates, but also the following creatures:
- Sharks
- Wolves
- Wild Boars
- Chickens
- Enemies, that are alive, but also those lying on the ground
- NPCs
- Ground-laying Guards of the Facility

Where to find the vaults? The vaults are scattered in all directions on the edge of the new map. It’s best to try to jump out of the bus right at the start of a round or head to the center of the new map. There you will also find a vault in the snowy landscape.
If the description is not enough for you, thanks to the “fortnite.gg” page, we have generated a map.

What do the vaults bring? These well-armored rooms are filled with three large chests, a construction-site toilet, and a few shield barrels. If you get into one of these rooms, you already have a big advantage over your enemies, as these rooms do not drop cheap weapons.
This way, you get a supply of shield potions, superior weapons, and above all, a cool escape route through the construction-site toilet. So if a team tries to surprise you during a heist, you can escape quickly.
What do you think of the returned vaults? Have you been in one yet? Let us know in the comments what you think!
