Place 7: Bilbo

The first 50 years of his life, Bilbo Baggins spends in typical hobbit leisure. But then he embarks on a great adventure. He finds the One Ring and becomes the first Ring-bearer. On his 111th birthday, he leaves the Ring to Frodo and bids farewell. He spends his last 20 years among the elves in Rivendell.

When he leaves Middle-earth at the end of the Third Age, he is a proud 131 years old. This is older than any hobbit had ever been (apart from Gollum).
